First of all, the IAC offers every year summer grants and several PhD fellowships called “Resident Astrophysicist Programme” (known as ARs). The call for applications and the process description is published yearly in its main website. If you are an early-career researcher, you also have the opportunity to visit IAC for a few months via the IAC early-career visitor program, and we often accept Bachelor/Master students via the EU Erasmus+ Traineeship program. However, contact us if you intend to apply to any of those to make sure exoplanet projects are available in case of success.

The La Caixa INPhINIT fellowships program offer every year PhD and postdoctoral fellowships that you can develop in any Severo Ocha center of Excellence in Spain and Portugal, and IAC is one of these eligible centers.

The European Marie Curie program is also an available and very attractive grant to access IAC at the postdoctoral level.

Finally, our group offers, at more irregular intervals, some pre and postdoctoral positions via funding from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and European Union funding awards. These are advertised when available at the IAC website and the Job register.
